To replace the rear windshield wiper blade of an Opel Astra, start by gently lifting the wiper arm from the rear window. You will find a locking mechanism that holds the blade to the arm; press or slide this lock depending on the model, releasing the blade. Once unlocked, you can rotate it slightly and remove it from the arm with a firm but controlled motion. Take the new blade and insert it in the same position, making sure it snaps correctly into the lock to prevent it from loosening during use. Lower the wiper arm against the glass and make sure it is securely in place and ready for use.
