When the Service light comes on, you should go to the workshop and have the engine oil changed along with the oil filter. It will then be the responsibility of the staff to reset the warning light on the dashboard, certainly not ours, but if we do the work ourselves, then we will have to take care of resetting the aforementioned anomaly autonomously. Here's what to do: with the instrument panel on, press the button on the left lever of the steering wheel to access the Settings, then use the button at the end of the same lever to select the Service, Reset option and hold it down until it is completed.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
