Activate and deactivate the start & stop on the Opel Grandland-X

Let's see how to activate and deactivate the Start & Stop function on the Opel Grandland-X: on the dashboard there is a dedicated button with the icon of an "A" surrounded by an arrow. With the light on, the system is deactivated; with the light off, the system is active and ready to intervene when conditions allow. The start and stop does not activate (even if on) when seat belts are not fastened, when the vehicle is on a steep slope, when the air conditioning or heating is set to extreme temperatures, when the battery is starting to run low, when the engine is not at operating temperature, when the steering wheel is turned to the maximum (for example during a maneuver). The system is designed for fuel savings and emissions reduction; if manually deactivated, it remains so until the next engine shutdown.
