How to Remove the Steering Wheel on an Opel Zafira

How do you remove the steering wheel from an Opel Zafira? Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Follow these steps to proceed with the removal: remove the inspection caps at the back of the steering wheel (if present), then, using a socket wrench (screwdriver), unscrew the fastening screws of the steering wheel cover (where the airbag is located). Once the airbag is detached (driver's side), disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the steering wheel securing bolt and remove the steering wheel from the column. For reassembling the airbag: connect the power connectors, then press the airbag back onto the steering wheel with your hands while simultaneously screwing in the rear bolts.
