Replacing the Gearbox Oil on an Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

In this video, you will learn how to replace the gearbox oil on an Opel Astra. First, lift your vehicle and remove the screws from the oil sump guard and extract it. Then, remove the bolts from the gearbox oil pan and take off the plate: place a container underneath to drain all the oil. Remove the old gasket from the plate, clean the surface, and fit a new one. At this point, reassemble everything and pour in the new gearbox oil through the designated hole located inside the engine. Close and tighten the screw, and you're done!
