Removing the Oil Filter on Opel Mokka

Replace the oil and filter if you have driven many miles. Here's how to change it. Lift the car with a suitable column lift, unscrew the bolt from the oil sump (let the oil drain out). Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located. Remove the worn oil filter and fit a new one. Check the oil level after replacement. Close the front bonnet.
