Exhaust Manifold Gasket Replacement

After thoroughly cleaning the gasket seating on both the cylinder head and manifold sides, removing any dirt and deposits, position the new gasket in its seat, aligning it with the dowel pins. Then, fit the manifold and tighten the fixing nuts in a cross pattern using a torque wrench. The perfect adherence of the gasket will ensure the absence of leaks and/or exhaust gas emissions, which could compromise engine performance and generate annoying noises as well as harmful gas infiltrations into the cabin.
