How to Remove the Dashboard of the Opel Astra K

In this video, you will see how to remove the dashboard of the Opel Astra K: the first step is to disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical issues. Proceed as follows: start by removing the dashboard side trim, then the driver's side air vent, and the glove compartment on the same side. Next, remove the plastic covering the steering column joint and the lower trim, where the ignition button is integrated. Then, take off the chrome trim that extends towards the centre of the dashboard. To remove the instrument cluster, there are two screws at the bottom; disconnect the electrical connector of the cluster, and behind it, you will find the HMI control unit.
