Operation: How to disassemble the dashboard of the Opel Astra K

In this video we can see how to disassemble the dashboard of the Opel Astra version K: the first thing to do is to disconnect the power supply to the battery, to avoid any electrical problems. We will proceed as follows: we will start by removing the dashboard side panel, then the driver's side ventilation duct, and the glove compartment located on the same side. Next, we will remove the plastic cover that covers the steering wheel joint and the lower trim panel, where the start button is integrated. We will then remove the chrome trim that continues towards the center of the dashboard. To remove the instrument cluster, we have two screws on the bottom; we disconnect the electrical connector of the cluster, and behind it we find the HMI unit.
