The following steps will show you how to remove and replace the alternator on a Peugeot 308 1.6 HDI. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and disconnect the battery; then disconnect the two intake hoses from the intercooler and remove the serpentine belt from the pulleys, as shown in the video.

At this point, disconnect the electrical wiring of the alternator and unscrew its mounting bolts to remove it and replace it with the new original one; apply the reverse procedure for reassembly!
