How to replace the rear shock absorbers of the Peugeot 208

Today we will explain how to replace the rear shock absorbers of the Peugeot 208. The first step to perform is to loosen the bolts of the right rear wheel before lifting the vehicle. Using a socket wrench size 17, completely unscrew the bolts and remove the vehicle's wheel. The second step is to unscrew and remove the fastening elements of the wheel arch, using a Torx T20 key and clamps. The third step is to detach the fastening elements of the plastic cover protecting the rear axle. The sixth step is to use the hydraulic jack to support the transmission crossmember. The seventh step is to unscrew the shock absorber fastening elements with a socket wrench size 16. Screw in the shock absorber elements with a key size E18. Remove the fastening bolts and remove the shock absorber. Then proceed to the assembly by following the reverse procedure.
