Battery replacement for the Peugeot 208 MK2

To change the battery of the Peugeot 208 that has run out and does not hold subsequent charging attempts, we open the engine hood and unscrew the negative pole clamp, remove it and move it aside. We release the clamp and move it sideways, using the handle then remove the old battery and take the new one with the same characteristics, insert the colored washers that indicate the polarity on the terminals, cover them with copper paste to improve conductivity and place the battery in its seat in the engine compartment. Insert the positive pole clamp and lock it, insert the negative one and tighten its nut.
