How to change the battery of the Peugeot 308 MK1.

Let's see how to change the battery of the Peugeot 308 MK1: open the hood, and the battery is located on the right side, but first, we need to remove the plate from the air intake, then we will take off the protective plate and the air duct. Now we can disconnect the positive terminal, then remove the cover with the maxi fuses that are connected to this terminal. Now we need to remove the battery cover by pulling it upwards. Using a 10mm socket wrench, we remove the battery securing plate; then we disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. We scratch the inside of the terminals with fine sandpaper to remove the layer of oxidation, then we apply some copper grease on the terminals of the new battery to improve contact, install the new battery, and secure the plate, then connect the negative terminal. We put the cover back in place and then reattach the plate with the maxi fuses and reconnect the positive terminal. Now we also put the protective plate and the air duct back in place, and we are done.
