Peugeot 206 - Video tutorial

Model: Peugeot 206 MK 1 - Years 1998-2012
Part: V-belt
Operation: Peugeot 206 service belt replacement

Using a ratchet wrench, unscrew the bolts of the pin under the belt and of the fixing pin (see video demonstration). Unscrew the belt tensioner with a torx wrench to loosen the belt tension; once removed, check that the belt tensioner bearing has no play (it is advisable to replace it if necessary) and reposition the new service belt between the pulleys. Tighten the belt tensioner again to give the correct tension again and re-close the pin and support bolts unscrewed previously. Run the engine and if the belt turns correctly you are done.
