How to Replace the Timing Belt on the Peugeot 308

To replace the timing belt on the Peugeot 308, lift the car so that the front right wheel is off the ground. Once lifted, loosen the bolts securing it to the hub and remove it along with the inner wheel arch lining. You will then have access to the side of the engine block, which can be released from the tensioner pulley. This can now be completely removed, allowing you to reduce the tension on the belt. You can then remove and replace it.
