Replacing the damaged alternator on a Peugeot 206, let's see how to remove it from inside the engine compartment. We open the front hood where the engine is. We lift the bonnet putting it in safety, we identify the battery of the power supply and disconnect the terminals. Let's locate the alternator. Remove the belt, unscrew the fixing pins with a socket wrench, being careful not to damage the cable winding membranes. We unscrew all the clamping pins of the alternator. Once the disassembly is finished we can remove it. We take the new replacement part and insert it into the suitable housing, screw in the locking pins, then tighten the side pins of the alternator. Let's check if the piece works.
