How to Change the Fuel Pump on Peugeot 206

Is the fuel pump damaged? Here’s how to remove and fit it on a Peugeot 206. Remove the rear seat cushions. Use a socket wrench to undo the retaining screws of the metal cap (use absorbent paper around the perimeter to soak up any fluid leaks). Undo the large plastic retaining nut of the fuel pump, disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation tubes. Extract the floating fuel pump from its seat along with the attached parts. Finally, refit a new part. Fit the new pump, reconnect the hoses and electrical connectors. Tighten the plastic nut. Replace the rear seats.
