Replacing the Fuel Pump on Peugeot 306

Let’s see how to remove the fuel pump on a Peugeot 306. Disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seat cushions: the fuel pump is located underneath. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the securing bolts of the metal cap, remove it from its seat, and cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to catch any liquid leaks. Unscrew the clamp of the fuel pump, disconnect the power terminals and the liquid circulation hoses. Extract the floating fuel pump from its seat along with any attached pieces. After reassembly, test the operation of the pump.
