Installation of Fog Lights

This installation requires some familiarity with disassembly and basic knowledge of electronics, as you will need to insert the warning light into the instrument cluster, connect it to the fog light switch, and power the fog lights through a relay.
Start by disassembling the controls of the indicator stalk and the instrument cluster by first removing the plastic cover panels. Once the instrument cluster is on the bench, completely disassemble it to access the electronic circuit (this operation is very delicate as you need to detach the needles); locate the position of the fog light indicator, remove the SMD LED, and drill a hole of the appropriate diameter to accommodate a traditional LED; then insert an orange film inside the indicator housing and reassemble the instrument cluster. Connect the ground of the LED and insert a wire into the connector of the light switch to provide power to the warning LED when the fog lights are switched on. Next, route the same power to the fuse box in the engine compartment through the grommet near the pedal area. At this point, power the fog lights through a relay: to supply power to the lights, you will also need to remove the bumper.
