How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Peugeot 206

First, lift the engine bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop; next, put your car on a mobile ramp to raise it, or use a jack. At this point, push the V-belt tensioner pulley to the side; use the square drive of the oil sump, size 3/8. Remove the V-belt and return the tensioner pulley to its original position. Check the condition of the pulleys and replace them if necessary. Now, install the V-belt. Ensure it is positioned correctly and push the tensioner pulley to the side, returning it to its original position. Run the engine for a few minutes to verify that the components are functioning correctly. Lower the car to the ground.
