How to Remove the Fuel Pump from the Peugeot 406?

In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the fuel pump from the Peugeot 406, a task necessary if you need to replace the float or the pump itself. First, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then remove the rear seat and take off the indicated circular cover. Next, disconnect the pump connector, unclip the two fuel hoses by loosening their clips, and unscrew the large outer ring. You can use a large flat-head screwdriver to assist with this. Once removed, you can extract the pump from the tank and fit the replacement.
