Removal of Fuel Pump and Float

This video shows how to remove the fuel pump. First, remove the rear seats as they are located directly above the tank with the pump. The seats are easily removable via bolts located underneath that secure them to the body. Once removed, take off the cover where the pump is located and disconnect it from any connectors and the two pipes that supply fuel to it. The pipes are simply pushed into the two conduits; using a screwdriver to lever them out makes removal easier. Next, to unscrew the pump, position the tip of the screwdriver on its sides where grooves are present and, with the help of a hammer, tap the screwdriver to facilitate its loosening.
