Below are the main instructions for removing and replacing the high-pressure fuel pump of the Peugeot 406 2.2 HDI. First, open the engine bonnet of the vehicle and start by removing the engine mount; lift the vehicle and remove the front right wheel, taking out the wheel arch liner and the serpentine belt, as shown in the video.

At this point, remove the timing cover and disconnect the water pump pipe; remove the timing belt and then the high-pressure diesel pump, following the video tutorial until the end!
