How to Replace the Engine Oil and Oil Filter in a Peugeot 107

In this tutorial, you can see how to replace the engine oil and oil filter in a Peugeot 107 by following some simple steps: lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod; unscrew the oil filler cap; raise the vehicle with a jack and place safety stands underneath. Position a container to collect the used oil under the oil drain plug; use a wire brush to clean the area around the drain hole. Using a 14mm spanner, unscrew the drain plug; let the oil flow out and wait for all the oil to drain into the container. Prepare another container for the oil filter. Use a multi-purpose cleaner to clean the oil filter. To unscrew the oil filter, use a ratchet with a 67-14 socket. Place the old filter in the container. Clean the filter seat with a multi-purpose cleaner; lubricate the rubber seal of the new filter with a bit of new oil. Screw the new filter into place, using a torque wrench to tighten to 23 Nm. Screw in the new oil drain plug with a 14mm socket (use the torque wrench up to 27 Nm). Lower the vehicle and top up the oil (5W-30, 3.6 litres) using a funnel, check the level with the dipstick, and add oil if necessary.
