Replacing Engine Oil and Filter

Model: Peugeot 308 T7, MK 1 - Years 2007-2014

Lift the vehicle to facilitate access to the oil sump, placing it on suitable axle stands and ensuring it remains level; remove the plastic undertray from beneath the chassis and position a container under the oil drain plug to collect the used oil; then unscrew the plug and while the oil drains, access the engine compartment to replace the filter located near the gearbox; to replace the filter, it is necessary to remove the battery compartment cover and the air duct; once you reach the filter location, unscrew the cap, remove the old cartridge, and insert the new one using the new O-ring seal kit, which must be lubricated with clean oil before installation; finally, tighten the drain plug under the oil sump using a new copper washer and fill the engine with clean oil until the correct level is reached.
