Replacing the Speakers in the Peugeot 208

Model: Peugeot 208 A9, MK 1 - Years 2012-2019

Improve the audio quality of your Peugeot 208 by replacing the standard speakers with higher-quality ones: first, remove the door panels. Take off the small plastic panel at the top right and the cap covering one of the four Torx 15 screws securing the panel. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the black trim on the handle that covers two 10 mm bolts, which you will then undo. The panel is now only held by clips, so pull it off firmly. You now have access to the speaker, which you will remove by unscrewing the mounting screws and disconnecting the connector. If the new speaker has a different mounting system, you will need to drill new holes in the metal and replace the old connector with more common spade connectors. Assemble the new speaker and test it before refitting the panel, reversing the operations. Repeat the same procedure for the other door.
