Operation: Replacement of the loudspeakers of the Peugeot 208

The audio quality of the Peugeot 208 can be improved by replacing the standard loudspeakers with others of a higher level: to do this we must first remove the door panels. We remove the small plastic panel at the top right and the cap that covers one of the four Torx 15 screws that hold the panel. With a blade screwdriver, we remove the black molding on the handle that covers two 10 bolts that we are going to unscrew, now the panel is supported only by the latches and we can remove it by pulling firmly. We thus have access to the case which we will disassemble by unscrewing the fixing screws and detaching the connector. If the new case has a different fixing system, it is necessary to make new holes on the sheet metal and change the old connector with the more common fastons. Let's assemble the new loudspeaker like this and test it before reassembling the panel by proceeding backwards with the operations. We repeat the same procedure with the other door.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
