Replacing the air filter on the Peugeot 208

Among the tasks to be performed during a service on the Peugeot 208 is the replacement of the air filter. To do this, open the bonnet of the engine compartment. You will find the air filter housing on the driver's side near the grille. Start by disconnecting the small ventilation hose, loosen the clamp on the outlet connection, unscrew the securing screw at the top, and disconnect the inlet hose. You can then remove the filter box and place it on a workbench for easier access. Unscrew the screws that secure the cover, remove the old filter, and clean the inside with compressed air. Fit the new filter ensuring the rubber edge is seated properly, replace the cover, and secure it with its screws. Refit the filter box and restore the connections.
