How to Replace the Timing Chain of the Peugeot 308?

To replace the timing chain of the Peugeot 308, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. On the left side of the engine block, locate the panel that protects the chain. This can be removed after loosening the bolts that secure the tensioner; this will reduce the tension on the chain, allowing it to be extracted from its housing. After removal, install the new chain around the sprockets and reassemble all previously removed components.
