How to replace the front brake pads on a Peugeot 2008

In this video we see how to replace the front brake pads on a Peugeot 2008: we open the hood and the brake fluid reservoir: we will have to raise the front of the car by placing it safely on jack stands, because we will also have to remove the front wheels (which we will place under the car for safety). By inserting a flathead screwdriver into the caliper slot, we lever to retract the piston, then we unlock the two bolts of the bracket and lift the caliper, which we will rest on the shock absorber. We remove the pads, then with a metal brush, clean the pad support and it may be a good idea to replace the anti-noise. The new pads should be lubricated with copper grease on the outer part, before inserting them into the support, and then we can put the caliper back in place by reassembling the lower bracket bolt and then the upper one. We repeat on the other side and the job is completed.
