Removing the steering wheel airbag from a Peugeot 308 is a very simple and quick task that you can do yourself. However, we recommend disconnecting the battery before proceeding with the removal to avoid accidents.

Insert a star screwdriver into the lower side hole of the steering wheel and push the internal lever. Remove the central body and then disconnect the connector.

Once the airbag is removed, you can perform any maintenance you wish or remove the steering wheel by unscrewing the central screw located on the back of the airbag.
