Replacing Front Brake Discs and Pads

Worn brake discs can compromise braking performance, so it's advisable to replace them. Remove the brake caliper using a ratchet wrench to unscrew the two rear screws.

Similarly, remove the caliper bracket after taking out the brake pads. Using a star screwdriver, unscrew the two retaining screws of the disc while holding it steady.

Clean the bracket thoroughly from debris using a rust remover spray and a wire brush. Reinstall the disc, aligning the mounting holes.

For securing the bracket and caliper, use new screws if possible; otherwise, clean and lubricate the old ones. Clean with a wire brush to remove most of the accumulated dirt.

Reinstall the caliper and reposition the piston to its starting position, then install the new brake pads. Clean the new discs with the appropriate spray to remove the protective grease layer.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
