Engine Oil Change on Dodge RAM 1500

In this video tutorial, you can see how to change the engine oil on a Dodge RAM 1500 model 5700 HEMI GASOLINE, following a few simple steps that will guide you step by step towards proper vehicle maintenance. To perform the oil change, position your vehicle on a level surface with the parking brake engaged, and with the engine off and cold. Prepare a 13 mm wrench, an oil catch pan, the oil filter, and 5W-20 oil. Place the vehicle on a lift; raise the oil dipstick to improve oil drainage. Position the catch pan under the vehicle, and unscrew the oil plug located underneath, as shown in the video. Once drained, replace the screw cap. Refill with 5W-20 oil and check the level with the dipstick.
