In this video, you will see how to perform general maintenance on a RAM 1500. First, to change the oil, drain the oil pan located under the vehicle and add new oil to the designated section in the center of the engine compartment marked by the yellow cap. Check the oil level first using the dipstick.

The battery is located on the right; simply disconnect the terminals.

Another simple task is replacing the air filter, which is located in the engine compartment on the left. Just unscrew the retaining bolts and lift the black plastic cover; you can clean the filter or replace it with a new one. The video also shows the location of the timing belt, which should be replaced depending on the vehicle's age or mileage.
