Resetting the Service Light on the Dodge RAM

After replacing the engine oil on the Dodge RAM, you need to reset the system that alerts you to this maintenance task. To do this, sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition. Using the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, press "down arrow" to select the reset option in the center of the instrument panel. Press "right arrow"; on the next screen, confirm by pressing "down arrow" and then "right arrow" again. Turn off the ignition and turn it back on to confirm the reset.
