How to Replace the Diesel Filter on Renault Megane 1.5 DCI?

To change the diesel filter on a Renault Megane, first open the bonnet and remove the engine cover. Then, as explained in the video, lift the front of the car with a jack and remove the front right wheel; otherwise, access to the filter is impossible. Also, remove the wheel arch liner as the filter is located behind it. At this point, you can disconnect the fuel inlet and outlet pipes from the diesel filter and remove the pressure pump pipe. Once done, lift the diesel filter slightly to extract it from its position, remembering to place a container underneath to protect the ground from any spilling liquids. Then, disconnect the pipes by pressing on the coloured part of the connector, as indicated in the video, while pulling the pipe simultaneously. Repeat the same for the other pipes. Now you can install the new filter, removing the caps covering the pipes first, and perform the procedures in reverse order to reassemble.
