Removing the Alternator on a Renault Clio

Model: Renault Clio MK 3, Clio 3, Clio III - Years 2005-2013

Lift the bonnet and insert the support rod. Remove the battery cover and first unscrew the nuts securing the negative terminal, then disconnect the positive terminal. Detach the ducts from the air filter box and remove it. Remove the right front wheel and the clips securing the wheel arch. Remove the small rear cover of the tensioner, unscrew the T50 bolt, and take off the tensioner. Extract the drive belt and return to the engine bay, where you will remove the intake manifold and anything blocking access to the alternator. At this point, disconnect the cables and unscrew the bolts to finally remove it.
