How to Use the Renault Card with Easy Access

Approach or move away from the vehicle to open or close the locks, having the Renault card in your pocket. Locking is confirmed by the folding of the wing mirrors and the flashing of the hazard lights. If the lights do not flash, it indicates that a door is open. After three days of not using the vehicle, the proximity unlocking is deactivated; you will need to press the button on the handle to open. You will need to restore easy access from the multimedia menu. After eight days of not using the vehicle, unlocking can only be done with the remote control. Again, you will need to reactivate it via the multimedia system. You can identify the vehicle in a car park or a poorly lit area using the light button. All windows can be closed by pressing the closing button twice in succession (including the button on the door). If you are in an area with strong electromagnetic interference, to start, place the card in the central tunnel with the buttons facing down, press the button and the clutch fully. Always avoid placing the card near a mobile phone. Ensure you have the card before performing the long press needed to start the engine. To prevent the rear doors from being opened from the inside, press the closing symbol on the card twice in succession. The card has a physical key for use in emergencies. Access it by sliding the card mask forward.
