Renault Megane - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Megane Megane 1 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Brake pads
Operation: Replacement of front brake pads

Before even lifting the car, loosen the wheel fixing pins without completely unscrewing them; then lift the car and place it safely on special stands rather than on the jack; then complete the disassembly of the wheel to access the brake calliper; therefore unscrew only the lower fixing pin of the caliper and rotate it upwards, remove the old pads, clean the sliding plates with a metal brush rather than with a screwdriver; then apply the wear sensor to the new pads and house them in their respective seat; retract the caliper piston and reposition it by tightening the fixing pin; proceed in the same way on the other wheel, pump the brake pedal until the latter offers the right resistance and check the brake fluid level in the reservoir.
