Replacing the Air Filter on the Renault Megane II

To keep the engine efficient and monitor fuel consumption, it is good practice to replace the air filter of the Renault Megane II at the scheduled maintenance intervals. To do this, open the bonnet of the engine compartment, you will find the filter box behind the battery, disconnect the electronic valve from its support and move it to the side, using a flat screwdriver, unscrew the two screws that secure the cover of the box, pull the cover towards you and remove it from its seat. Take out the old filter element from its compartment and insert the new filter; place everything back in the box. Close the cover and tighten the two screws. Reposition the electronic valve.
