Replacing the Window Regulator Motor on a Renault Megane

Let’s see how to replace the window regulator motor on a Renault Megane. Remove the plastic cover beneath the handle and take out the screw underneath. Use a flathead screwdriver as a lever to remove the handle cover, then disconnect the window switch connector. Using a Torx key, remove the two screws inside the handle. Unscrew the two bolts at the base of the panel and the last screw near the door latch. Remove the plastic cover at the height of the mirror and disconnect the mirror adjustment connector. Open the glove compartment and release the clips that hold it in place, lift this section of the panel and unscrew the screw that secures it. Disconnect the central locking cables and the opening cable, and pass the window regulator cables inside the panel. Remove the speaker grille and unscrew the three screws, disconnect the door bulb. Remove the panel by disconnecting the speaker and window regulator motor connectors. Secure the glass with tape and detach the motor from the window mechanism by unscrewing three screws, replace it with a new motor, test it to ensure everything works, and reassemble everything by reversing the steps.
