Renault Trafic - Video tutorial
Model: Renault Trafic
MK 3
- Years 2014-2024 In this video we see how to reset the pollution warning light on the Renault Master or Trafic, but in general on all Renault vehicles. When this light comes on, it could be accompanied by a loss of power because it could come from a clogged catalytic converter or from the EGR valve, or even from an injection problem. To determine the fault, we will connect to the EOBD socket with a scanner. The youtuber shows us a DIY scanner that we can find on Amazon with the code B07NXTJL1P at a price of 29.99 euros + 6.21 euros for shipping, and a professional one. The EOBD socket is located on the left side of the steering wheel, at the bottom of the dashboard, near the fuses. In this case, the connection is made through the professional scanner but the procedure is the same: we identify the make and model of the vehicle, then we go to diagnostics, we first do an automatic search that will read all the error codes that are displayed as the system finds them, and it finds several. We will delete everything because in this case it is a vehicle that has been stationary for a long time. We see that it starts without the warning light coming on but we do a new scan and see if any error codes reappear, and then a road test will solve all the problems. In this case, the errors did not reappear, but only because it was indeed a vehicle that had been stationary for a long time. Just deleting the errors was enough and everything went back to normal.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again! by ScegliAuto More videos
