Brake Disc and Pad Replacement
Model: Skoda Octavia

After removing the wheel, use two spanners to loosen the two retaining nuts of the brake shoes and, with the aid of a ratchet spanner, completely remove the bolts. Remove the brake shoes. Using a screwdriver and hammer, remove the cover at the centre of the axle and remove the bolt with a ratchet spanner. Remove the brake disc. Lubricate the shaft and refit a new disc. Tighten the disc retaining bolt firmly using a torque wrench. Refit the cover of the bolt and clean with a cloth. Clean and lubricate the brake shoe pins. Refit the brake shoe supports, carefully tightening the bolts. Restore the position of the pistons by pressing the brake pedal.
