In this video tutorial we can see how it is possible to replace the spark plugs in a Skoda Octavia by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to lift the bonnet and secure it with a special rod; next step we have to remove the engine cover holding it on both sides at the same time, then you have to disconnect the connectors of the ignition coils, remove the ignition coil from the spark plug housing (remember the sequence of the various steps); clean the dirt inside the spark plug holes. Use a 1-ratchet socket wrench to unscrew the spark plugs. Screw in the new spark plugs and tighten them with the torque wrench to 27 Nm. Fit the ignition coils to the spark plug holes and connect the coil connectors. Fit the engine cover and secure it.
