Removing the Door Panel on a Ssangyong Rexton

Is the door panel on a Ssangyong Rexton in need of replacement? Here’s how to do it. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screws located in the space of the upper door opening lever and the screws present in the handle. Remove the plastic cover of the mirror (inner side), unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel, and detach the retaining clips. Pull the panel away with your hands and disconnect it from the door (unplug the wiring for the power and the opening cable). Carry out the desired maintenance inside the door or install the new panel.
