This tutorial explains how to replace the cabin air filter in the Subaru Forester, a simple and quick task. Since the filter in this model is located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side, first, you need to remove the drawer. To do this, unscrew the 5 internal screws and the 4 lower screws. Now, open the long rectangular door by unlocking the two clips, remove the old filter, and clean the housing thoroughly. Finally, install the replacement by following the reverse procedure and ensuring it is inserted correctly.
