How to Replace the Headlight Bulb on the Subaru Legacy?

Model: Subaru Legacy BM, MK 5, BR - Years 2009-2014

To replace the headlight bulb on the Subaru Legacy, loosen the screws securing the inner wheel arch panel, unscrewing the screws at the bottom of the front bumper and those in the inner wheel arch. Once these screws are loosened, you can completely remove the wheel arch lining to access the interior of the headlight assembly; here, disconnect the connector and pull the bulb out of the headlight to insert the new one. The new bulb must be placed back in the headlight, and then reposition the wheel arch lining.
