How to best replace the battery on a Suzuki Swift? This video explains how to remove the battery. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet, disengaging the locking lever with your fingers, then secure it with the prop. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery to be replaced; start unscrewing the securing bolts of the battery terminals with the appropriate socket spanner, disconnect the locking plate of the battery (if present). Remove the old battery and fit a new one, tightening the power terminals. Close the battery compartment and shut the bonnet.
