To clean the throttle body of a Suzuki Swift, you will need a specific product for this use, such as LiquiMoly, which can be found with code B01MSW4I21 at a price of £16.90, with free delivery for Prime customers. First, disconnect the negative battery terminal, disconnect the air hose by loosening the clips, disconnect the electrical connectors, unscrew the 4 bolts securing the throttle body to the intake manifold, and remove the gasket between the two components, which is good practice to replace. Spray the cleaner on the inner walls of the throttle valve and on the edge of the intake, then use a brush to remove soot and carbon deposits. If the valve is electronic, do not force it manually, but gently rotate it to clean the edges. Also, clean the channel where the air passes, with the engine off. Install the new gasket, screw the bolts in a crisscross pattern with moderate torque, reconnect the electrical connectors, and reattach the negative battery cable.
