How to Remove the Starter Motor on a Tata Sumo

Model: Tata Sumo Victa - Years 2004-2011

If you want to replace the starter motor on this vehicle, refer to the instructions below and also check the video. Start by opening the hood and disconnecting the positive terminal of the battery for safety. Locate the starter motor on the left side of the engine just above the transmission, disconnect the positive terminal from the starter first, then the other terminal. Next, remove the bolts securing the starter to the transmission. At this point, you can pull the starter out of the engine compartment and proceed with its replacement if necessary.
