Operation: How to replace the clutch slave cylinder on your Tata Zest

This guide shows how to replace the Tata Zest clutch slave cylinder. The first operation to be performed is to open the bonnet and secure the vehicle. At this point, on the right side of the engine, under the battery platform, it is possible to identify the position of the cylinder. Then remove the battery and its support surface to reach the cylinder. Unscrew the two fixing bolts and the hydraulic pipe and remove the piece. At this point, insert the new cylinder into position and secure it with the bolts; check if the piston head is touching the clutch lever correctly. Top up the tank with the appropriate fluid and open the air bleed valve located on the attachment of the hydraulic pipe. Press the clutch pedal a few times to let the air out. Put everything back in place and check that the vehicle is working properly.
