How to Replace the Spark Plugs on a Toyota Avensis

Model: Toyota Avensis T250, MK 2 - Years 2003-2008

In this operation, it is advisable to disconnect the battery cables to protect any delicate circuits. Then, unclip and lift the bonnet. This will also allow you to remove the upper engine cover, giving you access to the top of the engine. Now, disconnect each individual connector from the leads that supply the spark plugs. Unscrew the bolts that secure them and remove the leads from each cylinder. Then, using a socket wrench, unscrew the spark plugs. After replacing them, retrace the steps described in reverse for reassembling the various components.
